Democrats are working overtime to take down President Trump.
Their field of candidates is growing every single day.
But it will all be for nothing after two people stood to guarantee Trump’s victory in 2020.
President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address is one that will go down in history.
It had overwhelming approval by the public, across the political spectrum.
He lays out his political agenda, and what he has been able to achieve.
And despite the media trying to spin Trump’s presidency as a disaster, he is easily able to prove just how much he has done.
Unemployment is at historic lows, and massive strides are being made towards uniting America.
One of the lesser known policies Trump has championed since taking office is criminal justice reform.
The past year, in particular, has been huge on that front.
A growing friendship between Trump and rap superstar Kanye West is making criminal justice reform into a priority.
It is so much a priority that Trump invited Alice Marie Johnson.
Johnson is a great grandmother who was serving a life sentence for a first-time drug offense.
After hearing her story, and how she has been changing lives of those behind bars by helping them find God, Trump wasn’t going to let her spend any more time behind bars, granting her a pardon last year.
Johnson was in attendance at the State of the Union, sitting right next to Trump’s daughter Ivanka, and son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
Trump asked her to stand up and welcomed her home with a touching speech that put tears in the eyes of millions of Americans.
But Johnson isn’t the only or even most significant person in attendance helped by Trump’s criminal justice proposals.
Matthew Charles is another non-violent drug offender who was serving a hefty sentence.
After serving more than 20 years, he was released in 2016, and upon release made a name for himself in his community, found a girlfriend, and fully redeemed himself.
But last year he was put back behind bars, as his initial release was a mistake due to the way the law is written.
Upon hearing of this news, President Trump was pushing his First Step Act, which would allow Charles to be freed.
And at the start of this year, the law went into effect, quickly freeing Charles.
As a way to welcome him home, President Trump invited him to the State of the Union, telling his story to the world.
On top of being the right thing to do, Trump’s push on criminal justice reform is going to help him massively in 2020.
African Americans are historically a Democrat voting bloc that they take for granted.
President Trump is not who they would historically support, but he is pushing forward issues helpful to that community.
Harsh, zero tolerance laws on drug offenses affect the African American community much harsher than any other.
And President Trump is doing something about it, allowing people to have second chances.
Not only that, but Democrats are proving themselves to be the party of racism.
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s racist yearbook picture shows the world that Democrats don’t truly care about stopping racism, and only talk about it for political points.
Do you think black people should leave the Democrat Party?
