Republicans were stunned that there was no red wave on Election Day.
Now conservatives want to know what went wrong and how to fix it.
And you’ll be speechless when you see what change Tucker Carlson demanded Republicans make.
Tucker Carlson was among the many conservatives upset at the results of the midterm elections.
Democrats gained a seat in the Senate, swept the toss-up governor’s race, and left themselves a path to maintaining their majority in the House of Representatives.
Tucker Carlson identified the culprit being that the Democrats held an unmatched messaging advantage thanks to dominance of liberal activists that control the corporate media.
Carlson explained that Republicans had no platforms that could match the totality of the reach of ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, and the Washington Post.
“The way people vote makes a big difference to the outcome and so, by the way, does access to channels of communication. Why does that matter? Well, because you can say whatever you want, but if no one hears you, you’re not really speaking and that’s the case for Republicans so often, as if Republicans can communicate their message unencumbered on a single cable television channel and a handful of relatively low-traffic websites. That’s it,” Carlson stated.
These outlets frame their coverage around Democrat Party talking points so average Americans who do not spend all day obsessing about politics develop their judgments about candidates and policies based on how the Democrat Party views the state of affairs.
One example is how pro-abortion fanatics support “reproductive rights” and the press labels “gun safety” advocates.
Activists in the press regularly smear Republicans that support Donald Trump as “extreme” or “fringe” but there is no equivalent labeling for Democrats that support socialism, grooming children into transgenderism, and open borders.
Carlson added the press now views its job to explain to the American people why Democrats are right about everything and lie shamelessly about Republicans.
“The rest of the American media amounts to a gigantic filter designed to distort what Republicans are saying,” Carlson added.
Carlson told his audience that the right has no match for the left’s corporate media megaphone and that Republican big-money donors must find a way to develop platforms that extend into the mainstream the way the corporate media does.
“It’s a campaign apparatus and only the Democrats have it. Now you can whine about that (‘The media are liberal!’), but it’s not about liberal or conservative. It’s about winning elections and Democrats can win because they have that. If Republicans want to win elections, too, they might spend some money to fix that, to achieve parity,” Carlson concluded.
Ever since Donald Trump ran for president, so-called reporters finally showed their true colors and admitted they were rabid partisan left-wing ideologues.
There is no going back to the days where so-called “reporters” even pretended to give Republicans a hearing.
And Tucker Carlson believes the party needs to take drastic action if it intends to compete in future elections.
