Health officials are still working to slow the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus.
New York City is being hit particularly hard by the pandemic.
And Tucker Carlson just exposed Democrats with one shocking video.
The revisionist history around the Wuhan coronavirus has already begun.
Democrats are attempting to place all of the blame for the outbreak at Donald Trump’s feet, and their media allies are all too eager to assist.
The Democrat Media Complex has spent much of the past three weeks saying the spread of the pandemic is his fault while absolving the Communist Party of China of all responsibility.
However, Tucker Carlson called out the Democrats with one stunning video.
The Fox News host showed a clip of New York officials urging citizens to go to massive public gatherings despite concerns over the illness ramping up in China.
Carlson also highlighted a tweet from mayor Bill de Blasio that encouraged people to go to a film festival.
In the clip, State Senator John Liu said, “[T]here’s really no need to panic and avoid activities that we always do as New Yorkers…Diseases originate from anywhere or from particular places in the world.”
Even then, it was somehow deeply important to suggest discussing the origin of the Wuhan coronavirus was “racist.”
Even though de Blasio was insisting people congregate while an infectious disease was potentially spreading, he was one of the first to blame Trump when the outbreak began to spread.
Instead of focusing on the potential spread of the virus, Democrats and all of Washington, D.C. were preoccupied with the sham impeachment of Trump.
Everyone knew it was nothing more than political theater with an obvious conclusion, but the Democrats and the media played it up like they finally had the smoking gun to remove Trump from office.
Meanwhile, China is getting a free pass from the media for their hand in the outbreak.
The Chinese government declared victory over the coronavirus, and the media were all too eager to trumpet that news.
However, their celebration might have been premature.
Reports out of Wuhan are that theaters are shutting down again, and crematoriums are working overtime.
Thousands of urns were also purchased, so there’s no reason to trust the numbers coming out of China.
That dovetails with the misinformation we got from China at the outset.
Carlson has been advocating for bringing American manufacturing home from China for a long time, and the national security concerns are as clear as ever.
We cannot rely on an adversarial authoritarian country to produce life-saving medical equipment and drugs, especially during a time of crisis.
Just as concerning, we can’t seem to rely on our own media apparatus, which seems solely focused on blaming Trump rather than doing what’s best for the American people.
