More than two years after the events of January 6, Tucker Carlson now has access to thousands of hours of new footage of the events.
He and his reporting team are reviewing the contents and plan on releasing their findings to the public.
And the liberal media has lost its mind over this political bombshell.
Tucker Carlson may be able to offer a new perspective on January 6 in the near future, based on a revelation he made to his audience that he and his team have access to thousands of hours of footage that has never been seen before by the general public.
MSN reports, “On Monday, [Carlson] said his producers have ‘unfettered’ access to about 44,000 hours of security footage.”
“Carlson said that his team has been analyzing the content ‘and how it contradicts or not the story we’ve been told for more than two years,’ and that his producers would spend the week reviewing the video and air what they found next week.”
And the liberal media is outraged.
“Scores of news organizations — including The Washington Post — on Friday demanded congressional leaders release a trove of surveillance footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol that the House speaker provided exclusively to Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who has downplayed the violence,” adds MSN.
“Without full public access to the complete historical record, there is concern that an ideologically-based narrative of an already polarizing event will take hold in the public consciousness,” read a joint letter issued by CBS News, CNN, Politico, ProPublica, ABC, Axios, Advance, Scripps, the Los Angeles Times and Gannett.
The subtle implication in this letter is that Tucker Carlson constitutes an “ideologically-based” reporter, while these outlets do not also fit the mold.
Of course, mainstream media outlets like CNN, Politico, the Los Angeles Times, and CBS all have overwhelming Left-wing biases, and regularly twist and distort information in order to fill their own “ideologically-based narratives.”
So, it should come as little surprise that these legacy media outlets are working hard to get a hold of the same material that Carlson has, so they can “debunk” and “discredit” his “narrative” before he can even have the time to piece together a position on the footage he now has in his possession.
Carlson has not even revealed everything that he has, let alone offered a conclusion to the general public about the contents of the footage, and already the liberal media is losing their minds over the fact that a conservative-leaning reporter has information they themselves do not have.
Carlson may be able to put forward information that could potentially debunk the Left’s narrative over some of the aspects related to January 6.
And this is why these other liberal media outlets are demanding access to Carlson’s footage, as they want to head off any new information they deem as “disinformation” before it even happens.
These media outlets are not seeking the truth, they are seeking to protect a narrative they have worked so hard to cement in the public spotlight over the last two years.
And Carlson could be on the verge of tearing that narrative apart.
