The public is getting to see new footage of what happened at the Capitol.
And it’s destroying the Democrats’ entire narrative about what happened.
Tucker Carlson exposed a bombshell new piece of information about January 6th.
On Monday, during the broadcast of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson aired new footage from the Capitol on January 6th which he had received from House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
“We are about to show you surveillance footage from inside the United States Capitol. The images you will see were recorded 26 months ago today on January 6th, 2021,” Carlson said. “Until now, politicians have kept this tape hidden from the public. There is no legitimate justification for that and there never has been.”
The new surveillance footage appears to show two Capitol police officers escorting Jacob Chansley, known as the “QAnon Shaman,” throughout the building, even opening doors for him.
“Not one of them even tried to slow him down,” Carlson continued, before suggesting that Chansley “understood that the Capitol police were his allies.”
“If he was in the act of committing such a grave crime, why didn’t the officers standing right next to him place him under arrest?” Carlson asked.
Chansley has been jailed for almost four years for “obstructing an official proceeding.”
In an interview from jail played by Carlson, Chansley said that his regret was “believing that when we were waved in by police officers, that it was acceptable.”
In a statement, the Capitol Police suggested that one of the officers with Chansley was trying to “de-escalate” the situation because he was outnumbered.
But Carlson said that explanation didn’t hold water as Chansley, who was unarmed, walked past seven more officers who didn’t even attempt to stop him.
“By controlling the images you were allowed to view from January 6, they controlled how the public understood that day. They could lie about what happened and you would never know the difference. Those lies had a purpose. They created a pretext for a federal crackdown on opponents of the uni-party in Washington.”
After hiding the footage for years, only releasing clips that fit their narrative, Democrats are now complaining that Tucker Carlson took the clips out of context.
“Anybody who watched that video would strongly disagree,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Tuesday. “We’d hope that keeping the Capitol and Congress safe and secure remains congressional leaders’ No. 1 goal, and that should be our focus.”
The Democrats’ narrative on January 6th has been completely exposed as false and they aren’t even apologizing to the American people for the disturbing way they misled them.
