The coronavirus outbreak consumed news coverage in 2020.
At some points it drew more attention than the presidential campaign.
And Tucker Carlson told this truth about the coronavirus that CNN wants to hide from you.
Tucker Carlson interviewed former “Cheers” star Kirstie Alley who slammed fake news CNN on social media for fear mongering over the coronavirus.
Alley blasted the fake network for scaring people with hysterical coverage that was not grounded in facts or reality.
“I now Know why my personal friends who walk around in SHEER TERROR of contracting Covid are simply CNN viewers! I decided to watch CNN myself to get their viewpoint and oh my God DID I EVER!!!! IF YOU TOO WANT TO LIVE IN TERROR WATCH CNN!! FEAR OF DYING IS THEIR MANTRA! OMG!” Alley wrote on Twitter.
CNN’s Communications team took the unusual step of responding to Alley and unleashed a cheap shot about Alley’s work on “Veronica’s Closet” which ran for three seasons on NBC from 1997 to 2000.
“Kirstie, you are welcome to change the channel – just like countless viewers did every time ‘Veronica’s Closet’ came on TV. But don’t downplay the loss of nearly 230K American lives. And please, wear a mask,” fake news CNN’s Communications account tweeted at Alley.
Carlson asked Alley about CNN trying to diminish her criticism because of a show that got canceled 20 years ago and Alley took a swipe at the network that bills itself as being about “facts first” getting the facts wrong.
“And they even got that wrong,” Alley explained. “You know, when they attacked ‘Veronica’s Closet,’ not even good ratings, it was in the top 10, so all they had to do was just Google that. Here’s the weird thing: I am like the poster girl for COVID correctness, I wear a mask.”
Veronica’s Closet’s premiere drew 24 million viewers and its final episode attracted an audience of eight million, which is eight times the number of people that watch fake news CNN’s highest rated program.
Alley also explained that CNN’s fear mongering did not serve the public because the network attacked possible therapeutics like Hydroxychloroquine and went out of their way to suppress any news that would give people hope.
“If they were coming up with new preventatives, I would be happy to listen, you know, or God forbid we come up with any new — what are they called — therapeutics,” Alley added. “But they shoot ’em all down.”
Carlson asked Alley why she thought fake news CNN covered the pandemic from a frame of doom and gloom.
Alley said she believed it was to keep any attention away from Joe Biden.
“We all know, we’re not deaf, you know, we can hear and we can see, just because we’re voting Republicans does not mean that we can’t hear or see,” Alley explained. “We know there is this death count, but it’s like they want to stand in the town square, and bring out the dead, bridge out the dead and they act like we aren’t affected.”
Alley added that fake news CNN’s scaremongering could be leading to the increase in depression and suicides that hit Americans during the coronavirus lockdown.
“I’m just saying what good does it do anyone if you provoke terror, if it makes people commit suicide or not go to the doctor if they have a different thing like cancer, God forbid or pneumonia, God forbid, they won’t show up at the hospital. Because they are afraid of getting COVID. I like the hopefulness with the report,” Alley declared.
Fake news CNN and the rest of the American left saw the coronavirus as their best opportunity to defeat President Trump.
They hyped the danger posed by the coronavirus to apocalyptic levels and supported lockdowns that many Democrat governors still have partly in place today.
All of these moves were undertaken with one goal in mind – getting rid of Donald Trump.
