The 2020 election season is heating up.
Joe Biden leads in the polls despite lackluster campaigning.
But Tucker Carlson’s ratings could reveal a big truth about presidential polling.
Joe Biden has opened up a sizable lead over Donald Trump in the national polls, leads in key swing states, and even leads or is within the margin of error in Republican strongholds like Texas.
But the experts said the same thing in 2016.
Trump supposedly had a less than 10% chance of winning.
Newsweek had to recall an issue with Hillary Clinton on the cover titled “Madam President.”
The pollsters struggled to get accurate polling data from many people in Trump’s base.
Something similar could be happening now.
The so-called mainstream media have made it so toxic to support the President, a Trump supporter might lie to a phone pollster.
One potential sign that there’s a silent majority out there eager to go to the polls is the ratings for Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Carlson has been on fire in attacking the increasingly radical Democrat Party, and viewers have been watching in massive numbers.
In the second quarter of 2020, Carlson set a cable news ratings record by averaging 4.3 million viewers with 791,000 in the pivotal 25-54 age demographic.
Fox News overall had a great quarter as they are the only cable news giant willing to talk about the radicalism of the left.
CNN and MSNBC bend over backwards to defend the domestic terror group Antifa and the Marxist front group Black Lives Matter.
Across the country, rioters and looters are destroying small businesses, threatening residential areas, and ripping down monuments.
There have been calls to abolish the police as cities are literally on fire.
Meanwhile, gun sales are at a record high, and 40% of the buyers are first-time gun owners.
Even left-wing journalists have criticized the excesses of the bizarre cultural revolution America finds itself in.
It’s difficult to imagine the American people are on board with this chaos.
If there were secret Trump voters in 2016 that weren’t accurately polled, there most certainly are now.
That doesn’t mean Trump is out of the woods and the election is in the bag, but when the left goes too far, there’s almost always a backlash.
Every day people are sick of the cancel culture and pall of silence that hovers over comedy, entertainment, or even simple day-to-day interactions.
As bombastic as Trump can be, the alternative is a 77-year-old sleepy candidate in clear cognitive decline who’s supposed to be a bulwark against the rising craziness of the left.
That is incredibly difficult to believe.
Trump has work to do, but Biden doesn’t have it in the bag like the media will have you believe.
Tucker Carlson’s growing audience proves that.
