Foreign powers work every day to spy on the U.S.
That’s because, in the modern era, information is power.
And you won’t believe who is running a massive spy ring in the U.S.
Foreign Spies Caught
The arrest of two Iranian individuals is creating speculation.
Their arrest is for spying on Jewish and Israeli facilities in California.
And while that’s bad, it looks like things are much worse.
A congressman believes it is just the tip of the iceberg.
Rep. Peter Roskam believes there are many more Iranian spies.
He contends Iran has multiple spies stationed in the U.S.
Their job is to conduct surveillance to support the Iranian government.
The information is likely used to support terrorism.
After all, Iran is the world’s largest state funder of terrorism.
Not only that, but they may be doing it on America’s dime.
Obama’s Money For Spying
During the Obama era, the Iran Nuclear Deal took effect.
Roskam believes the spy operations are a direct effect of it, stating:
“This is a result of the Iran regime getting financial support from the Obama administration in the Iran deal.”
Thankfully the U.S. is no longer a part of the Iran deal.
This is just one of the many disastrous effects of the deal.
Another major reason for the spying is lack of international resistance.
There are no repercussions from the U.N. for what they are doing.
Sleeper Agents On U.S. Soil
For many years experts have been warning of sleeper agents on U.S. soil.
They are operating with impunity.
President Trump is taking steps to crack down.
But after eight years of Obama, there is a lot catching up to do.
These sleeper agents are likely planning a large-scale terrorist attack.
There’s no telling what they may be planning.
But with Trump cracking down they are likely rushing to do something.
They are no longer dealing with a weak leader.
Obama would rather apologize to the world than fight to make America safe.
Both Spies U.S. Citizens
Perhaps the scariest part is that both spies arrested are U.S. citizens.
While they both have Iranian citizenship, they also have citizenship in the United States.
So while securing the border is a step to mitigate some threats, some are already on the ground.
One of the policies of Trump making things more difficult for them is his travel ban.
Iran is one of the countries included in the controversial ban.
If these two individuals had been properly vetted they likely would not be in the United States.
But the left still believes that targeting countries with ties to terrorism is racist and unconstitutional.
Thankfully Trump isn’t buying into their attacks and instead is fighting to make America safer.
And the Supreme Court agrees with him, ruling that his travel ban is constitutional.
For the time being Trump is getting his way on this issue.
Do you feel safer under President Trump than under Obama?
