Democrats want to crush any investigations into voter fraud.
They’re terrified at what could be uncovered.
William Barr went out of his way to crush a jaw-dropping election lie.
The Democrats have made it clear this year that they don’t care about American elections being fair and free.
The changes that they made to encourage mail-in voting opened the door for voting fraud.
“In 2005 former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker co-chaired a commission on election reform that found serious problems and risks with mail-in voting,” Jason Snead, the director of the Honest Elections Project said.
Now they don’t want the claims of voter fraud to be investigated.
The mainstream media were even reporting that voter fraud probes were over until the DOJ corrected them.
“Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the Department has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election,” a DOJ spokesperson said in a statement. “That is not what the Associated Press reported nor what the Attorney General stated. The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.”
Attorney General William Barr stated to the Associated Press that “to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”
“There’s been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results,” Barr added. “And the DHS and DOJ have looked into that, and so far, we haven’t seen anything to substantiate that.”
Barr wasn’t saying that there wasn’t fraud, just that there wasn’t one massive overreaching conspiracy that would overturn the election at once, and he is looking at a number of smaller cases.
“Most claims of fraud are very particularized to a particular set of circumstances or actors or conduct. … And those have been run down; they are being run down,” Barr added. “Some have been broad and potentially cover a few thousand votes. They have been followed up on.”
Thousands of votes in key swing states could make a difference but currently Barr doesn’t think he has evidence that will overturn the election.
Trump’s legal team feels like the DOJ could be doing more, stating, “There hasn’t been any semblance of a Department of Justice investigation” and that the evidence they compiled has not been examined by the DOJ. The legal team added, “Again, with the greatest respect to the Attorney General, his opinion appears to be without any knowledge or investigation of the substantial irregularities and evidence of systemic fraud.”
