President Trump has been warning about the illegal migrant caravan for months.
And the media called him a liar.
But they won’t be able to do that anymore after our worst fear was proven after something terrible happened.
The illegal South American migrant caravan is on the border in Tijuana, Mexico.
Thousands are in makeshift camps across the city.
And they are getting a less than warm welcome from locals, who are furious about the caravan.
While the media is portraying the caravan as a mass of needy women and children looking for asylum, the facts aren’t.
After one MSNBC anchor made that claim, an on-the-ground reporter was forced to prove them wrong.
“You’re going to see a lot of families here, a lot of women and children, but the truth is the majority of the people that are part of this caravan… the majority of them are men,” reporter Gadi Schwartz explained.
So even MSNBC’s own reporters aren’t buying the media narrative.
But it isn’t just that it is men in the caravan, it is who those men are.
MSNBC’s Schwartz continued to explain that of those men, the ones he talked to weren’t there for asylum, but instead for work.
This makes it clear that they are simply looking for an excuse to avoid the legal immigration process.
And some are looking to avoid that process for good reason.
Jose Villalobos-Jobel is a 29-year old Honduran who traveled across Mexico with the caravan.
While he isn’t in Tijuana, he made his way to the Calexico Port of Entry on Saturday.
He was requesting asylum like many others in the caravan are.
During his interview process, it was revealed he is a part of the infamous and brutal international gang MS-13.
They are responsible for heinous crimes across the world and in the United States.
Upon learning this, Villalobos-Jobel was ordered to be sent back to Honduras.
And it appears that American lives may have been saved.
MS-13 is well known for committing crimes, including murder and rape on U.S. soil.
This is one of the things Trump has been warning about, and the media has been ignoring.
Since the caravan began, Trump has been saying that gang members and criminals are in the caravan.
And the media has been calling that a lie continuously.
Even former President Barack Obama attacked Trump for his statements, saying:
“They’re telling us the single most grave threat to America is a bunch of poor, impoverished, broke, hungry refugees a thousand miles away.”
If it weren’t for President Trump being in office, the caravan would likely be welcomed into the country.
Trump has the U.S. Military on the border on full alert, with barbed wire barriers in place.
Ports of entry have been closed when need be.
And an attempted surge of the border was stopped in its tracks.
While what Trump is doing is working, for now, there’s no telling if future caravans will be able to force their way in.
That’s why building a wall on the border seems to be the best solution to the problem.
But with Democrats controlling the House, that will only become harder to achieve.
Do you support building a wall on the border?
