Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had no idea what was coming down the pike.
But Hegseth required a heads-up.
And Laura Ingraham shared this urgent warning with Pete Hegseth.

The media put Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth at the middle of the “Signalgate” hoax.
Leftwing activist Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic published a story falsely claiming Hegseth texted him top secret war plans for a military operation against Houthi militants who had been attacking U.S. Navy vessels in the Red Sea.
Ingraham had seen this playbook before.
It was the Russia collusion hoax and the Ukraine impeachment hoax all over again.
The liberal media planted a fake story – this one about Hegseth supposedly texting Goldberg classified war plans – to derail Trump’s foreign policy.
Trump is an America First conservative, but the deep state and the swamp media desire a Mitt Romney-Liz Cheney version of the GOP where Republicans and Democrats march in lockstep on endless foreign wars abroad.
“It doesn’t matter how successful Trump’s foreign policy is,” Ingraham began.
“Doesn’t matter. Goldberg and others like him will continue to long for the glorious days of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, when America was getting weaker as China was getting stronger. The truth is, most feigning outrage over the Signal chat are really outraged that under Trump, America is now acting in her own interest. Their idea of a successful Republican is Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney. Maybe throw them all together.”
Voters elected President Trump to end the wars in Europe and the Middle East.
And now the media launched a mission to take out Hegseth since he is one of President Trump’s anti-establishment cabinet picks.
“Now that it’s becoming increasingly obvious that the voters have chosen the America First approach to domestic and foreign policy, I mean the old guard, the old elite, they’re becoming angrier and more desperate by the day,” Ingraham continued.
The same media that let Joe Biden walk around the White House without even knowing what day it was now wants to claim Hegseth is a threat to national security.
“These people helped the Biden administration cover up everything from the Biden Ukraine and China grift to Biden’s own declining mental state, I will never forgive them for that,” Ingraham added.
But there was a tell in the story that gave away what this was all about.
Waltz invited Goldberg into the Signal chat.
Goldberg never mentioned that fact until the sixth paragraph of his story.
Waltz was really the one at fault and the actual scandal is why did Waltz have a Trump-hating leftist reporter like Goldberg in his phone contacts.
But Goldberg attacked Hegseth in the first five paragraphs of the story twice to make it seem like he was the villain.
The swamp hates President Trump’s foreign policy.
And now the media, Democrats, and Never-Trumpers think they can derail Trump’s peace plans for Europe and the Middle East if they take out one of his key advisors.
