New York Attorney General Letitia James waged lawfare against Donald Trump.
Now James received the worst news of her life.
And Letitia James may end up in jail for this bad move.

Letitia James filed a baseless lawsuit against Trump accusing him of inflating the value of his assets to receive favorable loan terms.
A Democrat judge awarded James $464 million.
That judgment is under appeal and likely to be thrown out.
But now James is facing allegations of her own for falsifying mortgage documents to receive lower loan rates.
Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director Bill Pulte referred James to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution.
Pulte wrote that James “has, in multiple instances, falsified bank documents and property records to acquire government backed assistance and loans and more favorable loan terms.”
In 2023, Pulte alleged that James granted Shamice Thompson-Hairston power of attorney to list a residence she bought in Norfolk, Virginia as her primary residence – despite New York State law mandating that, as an elected official, she must live in-state.
“Ms. James was the sitting Attorney General of New York and is required by law to have her primary residence in the state of New York — even though her mortgage applications list her intent to have the Norfolk, VA, property as her primary home,” Pulte wrote.
Pulte alleged James benefited financially from this scheme.
“It appears Ms. James’ property and mortgage-related misrepresentations may have continued to her recent 2023 Norfolk, VA property purchase in order to secure a lower interest rate and more favorable loan terms,” Pulte went on to write.
Pulte also alleged that over the last twenty years, James filed fraudulent mortgage documents claiming a five-unit property had only four units in order to receive a favorable interest rate.
“Spanning the last two decades, Ms. James has consistently misrepresented the same property as only having four units in both building permit applications and numerous mortgage documents and applications,” Pulte wrote.
“It appears that Ms. James may have listed the Brooklyn, NY property as four units instead of five units in order to meet the conforming loan requirements, and thus receive better interest rates.”
Pulte also claimed that James listed her father as her husband on mortgage documents in 1983 and 2000.
“While this was a long time ago, it raises serious concerns about the validity of Ms. James’ representations on mortgage applications,” Pulte’s letter continued.
James’ very own words when she sued Donald Trump are now coming back to haunt her.
“No matter how big, rich or powerful you think you are, no one is above the law,” James told reporters at the time.
