President Trump never shies away from the tough choices.
But this one was brutal.
And Donald Trump was forced to purge one ally for this awful failure.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
The swamp has been out to destroy Kristi Noem since the second Trump nominated her to serve as Secretary of Homeland Security.
Fake news media outlets, Democrats, and Never Trump RINOs like North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis oppose President Trump’s mass deportations.
Noem ran the department that secured the border and oversaw the removal of millions of illegal aliens from America.
Because illegal aliens crossing the border fell to zero, the left savaged Noem with lies and smears about ICE serving as a Gestapo or murdering innocent Americans as they watched their pool of future voters dry up.
President Trump finally made a change, announcing that Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin was his new choice to run Homeland Security.
“I am pleased to announce that the Highly Respected United States Senator from the Great State of Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin, will become the United States Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS), effective March 31, 2026,” Trump began.
Trump then announced he was transferring Noem to be his Special Envoy to lead the war on stopping drugs from entering America.
“The current Secretary, Kristi Noem, who has served us well, and has had numerous and spectacular results (especially on the Border!), will be moving to be Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, our new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere, which we are announcing on Saturday in Doral, Florida. I thank Kristi for her service at “Homeland,” Trump added.
The end for Noem came after her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Louisiana Senator John Kennedy asked Noem about a $220 million TV ad campaign that featured Noem riding a horse that touted President Trump’s success in securing the southern border.
“The president approved ahead of time that you spend $220 million running TV ads across the country in which you are featured prominently?” Kennedy wondered.
Last year at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Noem said the ads were President Trump’s idea.
“He said, ‘I want the first ad, I want you to thank me. I want you to thank me for closing the border.’ I said, ‘Yes, sir. I will thank you for closing the border,” Noem said at the time.
Noem again said that President Trump approved the ads.
Kennedy responded skeptically to Noem’s answer.
“To me, it puts the president in a terribly awkward spot. I’m not saying you’re not telling the truth,” Kennedy replied.
“It’s just hard for me to believe, knowing the president as I do, that you said, ‘Mr. President, here are some ads I’ve cut, and I’m going to spend $220 million running them’ that he would have agreed to that. I don’t think Russ Vought at [the Office of Management and Budget] would have agreed to that. It’s something we have to defend. I’m on the Appropriations Committee. I mean, my research shows that you did not bid them out,” Kennedy added.
Kennedy later told reporters that he spoke to President Trump and that Trump said the ads weren’t approved by him.
“After the hearing, the President of the United States called me, and I’m not going to speak for him. You folks know him. You can ask him yourselves, but put it this way, his recollection and her recollection are different…” Kennedy stated.
The swamp got its wish, and it successfully forced out Trump’s Secretary of Homeland Security with the hope of sabotaging mass deportations due to the gap in leadership.
President Trump quickly named a replacement to thwart that scheme.
