No one ever thought this day would come.
But it’s here.
And CNN just stunned viewers into silence with this apology to Donald Trump.
As American Media Watch Dog reports:
The fake news media suddenly began bombarding Americans with nonstop coverage of the Epstein files after years of ignoring the scandal while Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were in office.
Democrats and their media tag team partners had convinced themselves that the Epstein files contained a smoking gun that would force Trump from office.
The left bought into this delusion despite it being well-documented that Trump banished Epstein from Mar-a-Lago in 2004 for his creepy behavior and the fact that Biden had the files for four years and never leaked anything about Trump, which he would have if any incriminating evidence existed.
But like the Russia collusion hoax, Democrats couldn’t let go of this deranged conspiracy theory.
Anti-gun activist Cameron Kasky learned this delusion carries consequences when he had to publicly apologize for defaming Trump on CNN after falsely claiming Trump was part of a global child sex trafficking ring.
“I would like to retract my comments from CNN last night and truly apologize,” Kasky wrote in a post on X.
“Donald Trump was obviously not involved with a giant international child sex trafficking ring where women and children were systematically abused by elites,” Kasky added.
“I said that by accident and didn’t mean it,” Kasky added.
Kasky got himself in hot water with his comments that Trump took part in a secret international child sex trafficking operation.
“So I am appreciative that the president is being transparent about this. I would love it if he were more transparent about the human sex-trafficking network that he was a part of, but you can’t win them all,” Kasky stated.
CNN host John Berman let the falsehood about Trump go unchallenged.
“Cameron’s grateful that the president is being transparent about the Nobel Peace Prize and his desires for Greenland. Scott, what do you think about that?” Berman asked Republican panelist Scott Jennings.
Jennings couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
“You’re going to let that sit? Are we going to claim here on CNN that the president is part of a global sex trafficking ring, or…?” Jennings exclaimed.
Berman then asked Kasky to repeat what he said.
“We’re going to talk about the Epstein files. Scott… I will do the fact-checking as we go along here. Repeat what you said about the global sex trafficking ring.” Berman said to Kasky.
“That Donald Trump was provably very involved with it,” Kasky falsely claimed for a second time.
President Trump has no problem suing media outlets.
ABC settled with Trump for $15 million after anchor George Stephanopoulos falsely claimed a jury adjudicated Trump as a rapist.
CNN’s legal department likely panicked over Kasky lying about Trump and sent word that an apology better be forthcoming before Trump files an open-and-shut defamation case against the network.
