Vice President J.D. Vance’s stock is on the rise in the Trump administration.
That makes Vance a target for the deep state.
And the military went after J.D. Vance in this sick sneak attack
As conservative reboot reports:
Trump and Vance Have Their Eyes on Greenland
Donald Trump’s designs on acquiring Greenland for the United States have been one of the most prominent and controversial storylines during the early days of his second term in office.
Many people have attacked his ambitions to expand the United States, either on the grounds that his plans are immoral or that they are simply unrealistic and never going to happen.
But regardless of what those people think, Trump is pressing ahead, and J.D. Vance is there to help.
Vance recently paid a visit to Greenland and was greeted by some of the U.S. military personnel stationed there.
But unfortunately, one of the people who greeted him turned around and undermined him in an open email to her colleagues.
Vance is second only to the commander in chief and should be afforded respect by members of the military by virtue of his office.
Unfortunately, he was not given that, which has now turned into a political controversy.
U.S. Space Force Commander in Greenland Attacks Vance
According to Military.com, “Just days after Vice President JD Vance’s March visit to Pituffik Space Base in Greenland, the installation commander sent out an email to the base distancing it from Vance’s criticism of Denmark and its oversight of the territory, Military.com has learned.
“Col. Susan Meyers, the commander of the 821st Space Base Group who also oversees the Pentagon’s northernmost military base, sent a March 31 message to all personnel at Pituffik seemingly aimed at generating unity among the airmen and Guardians, as well as the Canadians, Danes and Greenlanders who work there, following Vance’s appearance. She wrote that she ‘spent the weekend thinking about Friday’s visit — the actions taken, the words spoken, and how it must have affected each of you.’”
Here is more of what she said: “I do not presume to understand current politics, but what I do know is the concerns of the U.S. administration discussed by Vice President Vance on Friday are not reflective of Pituffik Space Base.”
This email really never should have been sent.
Col. Meyers is entitled to whatever views she wants, but she also answers to a hierarchy, including Vance.
The article continues, “Meyers became the commander of Pituffik’s 821st Space Base Group in July, according to a Facebook post about the change of command ceremony.”
The reports did not indicate how Meyers’ email was received among her superiors, but it does seem clear that she was out of line in sending it.
The military has a diversity of political viewpoints, but one common mission, and for members of the military to pick political fights harms that common mission.
J.D. Vance is the Vice President of the United States, whether people like it or not, and the office that he holds means something.
He should be afforded respect, even by members of the military who do not like him, on account of him being the vice president.
