The swamp already found a way to throw sand in the gears of the Trump administration.
Establishment RINOs and Democrats couldn’t wait to thwart Trump’s winning streak.
And everything changed in the blink of an eye for Trump because of one word.
Donald Trump’s national security team wasn’t picked just because of their experience in defending America.
Trump wanted a cabinet in place that would cut the deep state saboteurs – who were hoping to rerun the same dirty tricks from Trump’s first term and spend the next four years trying to impeach and investigate Donald Trump – at the knees.
That’s why Trump picked 20-year military veteran Tulsi Gabbard to serve as Director of National Intelligence.
Gabbard is a longtime opponent of the swamp’s globalist foreign policy and illegal warrantless spying programs.
Trump trusts Gabbard to identify the deep state’s plots to weaponize the intelligence community against him and his supporters and clean house.
Trump also trusts Gabbard’s America First foreign policy instincts to sift through the intelligence reports and weed out the cooked-up reports the deep state could try to use to trap Trump in another foreign war.
All of this was why Democrats and RINOs on the Senate Intelligence Committee sought to derail Gabbard in her confirmation hearing and forced her to undergo a Soviet-style show trial where Senators demanded she renounce her previous views.
Democrat Senator Michael Bennett of Colorado berated Gabbard for her refusal to call whistleblower Edward Snowden a traitor for exposing the fact that Barack Obama oversaw the largest illegal domestic spying operation in human history.
“Yes or no, is Edward Snowden a traitor to the United States of America?” Bennett demanded.
Gabbard tried to answer by first telling Bennett she wore the uniform of the United States military for 20 years and her number one obligation was to protect and defend the Constitution.
“As someone who has served in uniform in combat, I understand how critical our national security is,” Gabbard started to reply.
But an enraged Bennett cut her off and began shouting at a veteran with honorable service in war that she couldn’t be counted on to defend America.
“Apparently, you don’t,” Bennett raged.
Bennett then began berating Gabbard over the fact that she stood for the Fourth Amendment and American liberty by refusing to condemn Edward Snowden as a traitor.
“This is when the rubber hits the road,” Bennet shouted. “This is not a moment for social media. It’s not a moment to propagate conspiracy theories or attacks on journalism in the United States. This is when you need to answer the questions of the people whose votes you’re asking for.”
WHAT IS HAPPENING??? Senator Michael Bennet asked Tulsi Gabbard a question, and when she opened her mouth to answer, he immediately interrupted her and started SCREAMING.

Even RINOs began questioning Gabbard, with pro-amnesty Oklahoma Senator James Lankford acting befuddled over Gabbard not saying Snowden was a “traitor.”
“I think there are a lot of questions after… We were kind of surprised. I thought that was going to be an easy softball question, actually,” Lankford told reporters.
Instead, Gabbard answered the Snowden question in a Newsweek op-ed where she was able to explain – without interruption – that, as a military veteran, she understood the weight of accusing someone of treason, a crime which is punishable by death.
In the op-ed, Gabbard wrote that she and Donald Trump Jr. had both been accused of treason, so it wasn’t a word she threw around lightly.
“Given the interest by committee members about whether Edward Snowden should be called a “traitor,” here’s what I shared with the Senate Intelligence Committee in the closed session about why I do not casually throw around that term: Treason is a capital offense, punishable by death, yet politicians like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former US Senator Mitt Romney have slandered me, Donald Trump Jr. and others with baseless accusations of treason. It is essential to focus on the facts, not the label. Snowden should have raised his concerns about illegal surveillance through authorized channels, such as the Inspector General or the Intelligence Committee, instead of leaking to the media,” Gabbard wrote.
