President Trump is used to the swamp scheming to derail his agenda.
But Trump wasn’t expecting this.
And Donald Trump went ballistic after this gut-wrenching defeat
As Conservative Reboot reports:
The Supreme Court ruled that President Trump’s reciprocal tariffs enacted under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (IEEPA) were unconstitutional.
The justices lawlessly ruled that the act’s language authorizing the President to regulate imports somehow didn’t include tariffs.
Globalists who looted America through so-called “free trade” deals sued to stop the tariffs because they were President Trump’s signature economic policy to reshore critical American industries such as microchips, pharmaceuticals, steel, and autos.
But the ruling just knocked down the IEEPA tariffs.
As President Trump noted in his post-ruling comments, all national security tariffs were in place.
“Effective immediately, all national security tariffs under Section 232, and existing Section 301, tariffs… remain in place, fully in place, and in full force and effect,” Trump said.
President Trump also revealed that he planned to impose a 10 percent global tariff under Section 122 of the Global Trade Act.
“Today, I will sign an order to impose a 10 percent global tariff under Section 122, over and above our normal tariffs already being charged, and we’re also initiating several Section 301 and other investigations to protect our country from unfair trading practices of other countries and companies,” Trump went on to say.
Later that night, President Trump made the new 10 percent global tariff official.
“It is my Great Honor to have just signed, from the Oval Office, a Global 10% Tariff on all Countries, which will be effective almost immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
President Trump is committed to his tariffs, believing they are the key to reversing decades of America’s last trade policies.
