Donald Trump mastered the art of the deal.
But no one was expecting this.
And you won’t believe which Democrat Donald Trump met in secret.
As West Wing Daily reports:
President Trump told Americans during the campaign that he could unite the country through success.
Americans were sick of the woke left censoring and canceling anyone who used the wrong pronoun, supported the police, or believed in a secure border.
The backlash to the oppressive woke regime that captured institutions allowed Trump to put together the most diverse Republican coalition ever.
There are also critics of the woke mob among traditional liberals.
“Real Time” host Bill Maher counts himself among that crowd.
Maher spent four years warning Democrats that their unchecked support for transgenderism and open borders would cost them dearly.
The 2024 election was an “I told you so” moment.
Music legend Kid Rock knows Maher and is one of President Trump’s biggest supporters.
And Kid Rock told TheBlaze founder Glenn Beck that he planned a secret dinner at the White House between Maher and President Trump that Kid Rock hoped would help unite the country.
“I’m actually going to try and unite this country and I’m starting at the end of the month I’m taking Bill Maher to the White House for dinner. This guy who has done nothing but talk smack about the president since day one,” Kid Rock stated.
Kid Rock said the idea came to him when he appeared on Maher’s podcast and that he told Maher that President Trump loved the idea of hosting him.
“I was doing his podcast, I said, if I could hook you guys up, that, that, and the other — and trust me, there’s a lot more people deserving at that table, you know, for dinner so it’s a big deal to me to bring him there and to even have the president be like, yeah, do it, let’s do it,” Kid Rock added.
Maher is no fan of the president, but Maher’s expressed frustration with the left’s descent into lunacy over their hatred of Trump.
Kid Rock said it would send a good message to the country that actual liberals were willing to accept the fact that Trump won the presidency if Maher and Trump sat down and broke bread.
“I go, man, what would it say to this country? Let’s start at the top with two very public figures, him, a television comedian, you, president of the free world, and we can just break bread, have some laughs, take a picture, and be like, hey, you know, we don’t agree on everything, but we got along. Does that start to send a message to people or do they just think I’m an idiot?” Kid Rock concluded.
