When a president speaks before donors at a high-dollar fundraiser, it should be the easiest crowd he ever has to deal with.
These donors kicked in five and six figures for the pleasure of rubbing elbows with the president and they aren’t trying to trip him up with “gotcha” questions.
But even Joe Biden’s most financially invested supporters can no longer countenance what they are seeing.
Donors told Axios that Joe Biden only answers pre-selected questions and reads his scripted answers from notecards his handlers prepare for him.
“President Biden has been using notecards in closed-door fundraisers, calling on prescreened donors and then consulting his notes to provide detailed answers, according to people familiar with the routine,” Axios exclusively reported.
“Biden’s reliance on notecards to help explain his own policy positions — on questions he knows are coming — is raising concerns among some donors about Biden’s age,” the Axios report continued.
Joe Biden’s inability to answer off-the-cuff questions was obvious for all to see for years.
Biden has held fewer press conferences than any other president.
On the rare occasions that Biden did submit to questions from his fans in the press corps, photographers would catch Biden with a list of reporters his staff instructed him to call on and holding a cheat sheet to answer the questions they submitted in advance.
He literally has to take pre-screened questions from journalists.

That reporters never focused on this obvious sign of Joe Biden’s decrepitude is yet another sorry example of reporters thinking their job is that of a Democrat Party political operative.
But there is no denying or ignoring Joe Biden’s senility now.
That’s because special counsel Robert Hur put Biden’s cognitive decline front and center with his report about Joe Biden stealing classified documents.
Hur reported that no jury would convict Biden once they got a look at his enfeebled mental state.
Hur recounted that Biden forgot what years he was in office as vice president and couldn’t even make a ballpark guess about when his son Beau passed away following a battle with brain cancer.
Biden then compounded the story about his cognitive impairment by refusing to participate in the Super Bowl interview.
Donors expressing worry that Biden can’t answer questions without a script at fundraisers also undercut the defense of Biden that Democrats sought to offer which is that Biden is sharp as a tack and runs circles around them with his detailed and snappy questions in private meetings.
Americans now know that in public and private Joe Biden’s cognitive functions are dangerously compromised.
