There is one fact that will destroy Jack Smith’s case against Donald Trump.
It’s now before the Supreme Court.
And Jack Smith is terrified Clarence Thomas will discover this terrible secret.
Donald Trump petitioned the Supreme Court to stay Smith’s political show trial in Washington, D.C. for contesting the 2020 election so he can pursue his avenues of appeal.
A three-judge panel on the Democrat-dominated D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected Trump’s motion to dismiss Smith’s indictment because of presidential immunity.
In a response to Trump’s motion, Smith all but admitted the goal of this trial is to convict Trump before the election so the court needed to let the trial continue at the breakneck pace Obama Judge Tanya Chutkan originally set.
“Delay in the resolution of these charges threatens to frustrate the public interest in a speedy and fair verdict — a compelling interest in every criminal case and one that has unique national importance here, as it involves federal criminal charges against a former President for alleged criminal efforts to overturn the results of the Presidential election, including through the use of official power,” Smith argued.
Smith never explains what this “public interest” is.
And the right to a speedy trial is reserved for the defendant – which Trump would like to waive – and not the government.
But Smith – as well as Chutkan and the judges on the D.C. Circuit Court – understands that a criminal conviction – even on the bogus charges Smith filed for trying to overthrow the government – is the best chance Joe Biden has of winning the White House.

That’s why the thrust of Smith’s motion is that the judges need to keep the trial on track so he can win a conviction from the all-Democrat jury that is sure to preside over this case by the fall.
“The public interest in a prompt trial is at its zenith where, as here, a former President is charged with conspiring to subvert the electoral process so that he could remain in office,” Smith added. “The Nation has a compelling interest in seeing the charges brought to trial.”
The only compelling interest in a speedy trial resides with Joe Biden and the Democrat Party.
That’s why Biden’s team recently leaked to POLITICO that Biden was furious with Attorney General Merrick Garland for not pushing fast enough to indict Trump to ensure a conviction before the election.
“In recent weeks, President Biden has grumbled to aides and advisers that had Garland moved sooner in his investigation into former President Donald Trump’s election interference, a trial may already be underway or even have concluded, according to two people granted anonymity to discuss private matters,” POLITICO reported.
Smith is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the justices by dancing around the fact that he intends for this trial to be a political act to interfere in the election.
Will Clarence Thomas and the conservatives on the Supreme Court fall for it or will five justices put a stop to Smith’s attempt to bend the justice system to serve Joe Biden’s political ends?
